Santa Claus in your Chimney
November 30, 2014 in Santa Claus in your Chimney
This is one of funniest questions asked by kids during the Christmas season. How does Santa fit down the chimney? Santa Claus, also known as Jolly old Saint Nick, flies around on a sleigh driven by reindeer, delivering gifts and special toys to children on Christmas Eve. He is magical because he is really fat but is able to use strange powers to fit down the narrowest of chimneys. Kids wonder a lot about his movement and how he could possibly fit down a chimney?
According to Christmas folklore, Santa often goes from house to house to deliver presents. After landing on the roof, he climbs down the chimney and leaves unique gifts for children to find in the morning. He will enter each house through the fireplace and leave toys and candy canes for all children who have been good and are fast asleep in bed. Then he will eat any cookies and milk if you leave it out for him and climb up the chimney to make his exit.
Does Santa have the capacity to fit into a chimney? Santa has the unusual power to compress his body into a tiny size before fitting down through the chimney.
What
about kids that don’t have
chimneys in their homes? Santa
uses magic to make himself and
also objects move around.
He enters the houses without
chimneys through magic by simply
creating one temporarily and
climbing inside. The
chimney and fireplace disappear
when he leaves but the toys
stay!
