Prokleen Wizard system is a line of chimney cleaning materials that are mainly used to eliminate the three stages of creosote accumulation in the lining of the chimney. Creosote is a natural product of wood burning. The rate of the creosote buildup can be affected by the residence age, stack temperature and smoke density. The first stage of creosote buildup is flaky, during this period the chimney is easily cleaned up as it only requires a brush to get it off the lining.  The second stage manifests itself as flaky soft creosote which then turns into a hard, shiny, flaky substance that gets clogged onto the lining of the flue, this causes the chimney to be easily affected by backdrafts.  At this point, the sticky substance appears as though it may be brushed away, however the creosote that has now condensed on the lining of the chimney is tough and cannot be brushed off easily. It is at this point that the Prokleen wizard systems come in handy.

On stage three of creosote buildup, the most commonly used tool that will get rid of the clogging and thick lining of the chimney are electric power tools. The Wizard system uses rotating loops to wipe the sides and corners of clay flue tiles and remove the build-up of creosote all the way down to the liner in minutes. It is also great for slashing heavier concentrations of surface glaze, so it breaks up and falls off the liner.  Powerful drills that are attached to metallic rods or steel brushes are very effective in scrubbing away creosote. On stage three, the creosote has turned into a sticky and very flammable mess. Prokleen Wizard Systems will rid the chimney of dangerous build-up and will prevent fires.
